This weekend Dan and I took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. We equipped ourselves with cups of tea, cameras and a notepad, and watched events from our vantage point in the conservatory.
We started our one hour birdwatch at 10.30am. This is what we saw...

| 11:00am - Halfway through: 4 species = 8 birds in total |
The first half an hour was quite slow and we were very disappointed with how many
Starlings showed up seeing we usually have quite a few in the garden. There was no sign of the
Sparrows or the
Wood Pigeons we usually get.

| A total of 3 showed up and started fighting over the food... |
 |
| ...this was short lived when a flock of Starlings flew down. |
 |

Conclusion:
