Day 23 - 30 Days Wild - My new gadget - a wildlife camera!

On Day 23 we treated ourselves to a little wildlife gadget - a motion sensor camera! For a long time we had wanted to get one and we were eager to see if we had hedgehogs in the garden.

We found it on offer at our local ALDI's and we couldn't resist buying it. It came with batteries and a SD card so it was ready to go.

So we set it up on a nearby tree, put some meal worm on the ground and went to bed. When we woke up in the morning the first thing we could think of was the camera. So we ran down to get the SD card out of the camera to view it on the laptop.

Excitedly we clicked through the pics and we couldn't believe that at 1:49am we had a visitor - a fox! What an amazing surprise, our first night with the camera and we captured a wonderful sight of wildlife on it.

From now on we hoping the fox will be a regular visitor and we still hold out hope that a hedgehog will make an appearance too.
